What does Head Start look like in our community?

It looks like children learning in the classroom, families connecting with resources, health screenings, and parents pursuing education or careers.

This Head Start Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the many ways MGCAA Head Start partners with children and families to help them thrive.

From parents who have turned into employees, employees who became Head Start parents, to Head Start students who have become successful. That is the power of Head Start, and we’re proud to be part of it.

πŸ’—πŸŒΈ PINK Pinwheels, BIG Smiles & BRIGHT Futures! πŸŒΈπŸ’—

Treutlen Head Start was pretty in pink as we joined the Georgia Head Start Association in celebrating Head Start Awareness Month while also raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. πŸŽ€

Our little learners proudly wore pink and helped plant pink pinwheels to represent the children at our center. Each pinwheel is a reminder that every child matters and that strong early learning experiences help grow brighter futures. πŸŒΈπŸ’—

We loved seeing our children spread love, hope, and Head Start pride while celebrating the importance of healthy children, strong families, and thriving communities.
